IF YOU PREFER, you may download a PRINTABLE MEMBERSHIP FORM and mail it to us with your check. Address is on the form.

Chapters

When you join, you may choose to become a member of the County Friends, in which case your contribution will be shared with all 10 branches of the Marin County Free Library, or you may designate a local chapter. When you designate a chapter, half of the first $50 is shared with the County Friends to pay for county wide programs such as Summer Learning, Community Events, and more. Any amount over $50 stays with the local chapter.

March at the Book Place

We’re celebrating Women’s History Month! Choose any NON-Fiction book about a woman, women’s issues, or anything related to women, and get 50% off! They’re all around the store: Art, Sports, Entertainment, Music, True Adventure (you get the idea). Celebrate women, their lives, and their contribution.

We also have a sale on Romance; small paperbacks are just 50¢ each all month. It’s a great time to stock up.

 

We take Requests - send us an email, we’ll look for the book to save time, or, if it’s a book we don’t have in stock, get on our waitlist, and we’ll let you know when it comes in.

The Book Place is operated by the Friends of the Marin County Free Library, a nonprofit volunteer organization. All proceeds are used for special programs, needs, and materials for the Marin County Free Libraries.
