The Book Place - 1608 Grant Avenue, near 7th Street, Novato​

 

You'll find books in more than 60 categories at unbelievable prices--fiction, nonfiction, cookbooks, children's books, collector's items and much more. You'll also find CDs, DVDs, and sheet music and puzzles. Books start at just a quarter. We're staffed entirely by volunteers. Hassle-free parking is behind the store.

 

Donations of books are accepted Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, BEHIND the store in our parking lot. Enter off 7th Street, near corner of Grant Avenue, and look for our roll-up door. Be sure to consult our Donation Guidelines before packing your donations. Thank you in advance!

April at The Book Place

 

It’s our 22nd anniversary at our Grant Avenue store! Thanks to all of our loyal customers who have shopped with us for more than two decades. We’re celebrating with two specials this month:

  • All Art and Collectible books are 20% off our sticker price. Choose from all types of art, collectible classics, and beautiful cookbooks. 

  • Mystery fans, our hardcover and large paperback mysteries are JUST $1.00 (that’s half price…) This is ALWAYS a popular sale item. Don’t let it pass you by.
